• Made his IndyCar debut in 2011 with Chip Ganassi Racing, with a pair of top-10 finishes in a steadily-improving season, and has continued with the team for seven consecutive seasons.
• Scored his first Indy car victory at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in the 2013 Honda Indy 200.
• After success in karting and Formula F, Kimball moved up to the British Formula 3 Championship in 2005, winning five races in his rookie year. Became the first American driver to win in the European Formula 3 series at Zandvoort in 2006. Moved up to the World Series by Renault in 2007, but his season was cut short by his diabetes diagnosis.
• Started racing in karts at age nine, winning numerous championships over the next seven years. Moved up to cars and Formula F in 2003, finishing fourth in the British Formula F championship in 2004.
