After the overwhelmingly positive reaction to the racing Civic Si concept shown at last year’s Performance Racing Industry show, Honda Performance Development (HPD) launched the HPD Civic Si Race Car program. HPD builds, sells, and supports this turn-key, current-gen Honda Civic Si race car to registered Racing Line members, and can be raced in series such as the SRO Pirelli Challenge TCA, Canadian Touring Car Championship (CTCC) Touring Class, SCCA T3, and NASA H2 classes.

2020-SRO-TCA-COTA #4

As last year’s Pirelli World Challenge TCA champion race car driven by Tom O’Gorman, the Civic Si is a dynamic and proven racing platform that is affordable and fun to drive. Like HPD’s other Civic touring car race cars, the HPD Civic Si race car will be built from the HPD Civic Body-in-White, which debuted at the 2016 SEMA show. HPD includes a full complement of race-tested performance parts used in running the car during the past two seasons in the Pirelli World Challenge, as well as technical support and documentation through its HPD Racing Line program.

"This is another example of how the durability and performance that comes in Honda production vehicles makes every Honda race vehicle an incredible value," said George Harmon, Marketing Director for HPD Commercial Motorsports. "These cars are going to provide our competitors with the best chance of getting on Touring Car racing podiums across North America."

The complete race car is priced at $55,000 (excluding delivery) and includes an installed roll cage, HPD-developed and homologated parts including engine, suspension, exhaust, and electronics packages.
